The “First International Starry Night” took place with a Stargazing event on July 12, 2013 in which approximately 225 people from across the Chicagoland area participated.
Next Stargazing Event
The next stargazing event in support of “International Starry Night” will take place on September 27th at the Trantina Farm. The Kankakee Area Stargazers, the Naperville Astronomical Association, and the South West Astronomy Observers Group will once again bring their large telescopes and assist the public in free viewing of the night sky.
