The Village of Homer Glen is pursuing the transfer of stewardship from the Homer Township Road District. This transfer will allow the Village to create its own public works department accountable to the residents of Homer Glen. Mayor Yukich Press Release

Village Board Approves Resolution Declaring Intention to Pursue Transfer of Stewardship
On September 23, the Village Board unanimously approved Resolution No. 009declaring support for the Village to pursue the transfer of stewardship. The resolution explains the reasons behind the transfer and the legal mechanisms for doing so. The formal approval of any transfer agreements will be voted on in the future.
