Marian Village is proposing to expand the existing facility with a new 36-bed assisted living memory care building and renovation of an existing building with 5 new assisted living units.

Citizen Planner Training by APA-IL and Chaddick Institute for Metropolitan Development.  Session Leaders Marty Scott, AICP and Andy Cross, AICP

Marty Scott from Western Springs and Andy Cross from Highland Park did an awesome job on July 1st - they kept dozens of slides moving with active discussions and rea-life scenarios.  The training evaluations reflected that as well!

The Village provides this training every year to introduce newly-appointed Commissioners to a variety of responsibilities.  For returning Commissioners, this training can serve as a refresher of the basics.  this session has been recorded if anyone would like to watch the training video.
