Scarecrow Decorating Contest Information

“Dress Your Pet” Halloween Costume Photo Contest 

Residents of Homer Glen interested in participating in the “Dress Your Pet” photo contest should email events@homerglenil.org a photo of your pet in costume - dog, cat, horse, bird, rabbit, pig, reptile, all pets included! Be sure to include your contact information, pet’s name, and details about your pet’s costume for a chance to win! Photos will be posted on the Village Facebook page @villageofhomerglen. The photo with the most Facebook likes will win a prize! Deadline to enter is October 26.

Trunk or Treat

Drop by Heritage Park from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. for a free, spooktacular afternoon of trick-or-treating in our safe, family-friendly environment. Wear your costumes and meander our decorated, candy-filled vehicle trunks. Information to Enter a Vehicle

Halloween

October 31
Trick or Treat hours for the Village will be announced on October 13. The Village has a "No Trick or Treat" sign that may be posted on the front door if you choose not to participate. Residents may pick up a copy at Village Hall or download the sign.
