Spraying for Gypsy Moth to Take Place Friday, June 26

Gypsy Moth Caterpillar

The Illinois Department of Agriculture in cooperation with US Forest Service and the Gypsy Moth Slow the Spread Foundation plan to make an aerial application of mating disruption in New Lenox and the southern portion of Homer Glen later this month. Weather permitting, spraying will take place on Friday, June 26. Aircraft flying overhead may sound very loud.
