Guidelines For Participating As A Trunk
- Participating vehicles can arrive as early as 12:00 p.m. for set-up, and no later than 1:30 p.m. Please come to cul-de-sac road near the sled hill.
- If more time is needed to decorate your trunk, please contact the Events team directly.
- All participating trunks must be decorated and staffed by 2:00 p.m. Vehicles arriving after 2:00 p.m. will not be allowed to participate for safety reasons.
- The first hour of Trunk-or-Treat (2 - 3 p.m.) is a SENSORY SENSITIVE hour for our special needs residents who will be personally invited to this low sensory time. We expect a small crowd and are requesting no lights, sounds, or animatronics during this time. Sensory Sensitive time ends promptly at 3 p.m. at which time all decorations/effects may be used.
- To ensure safety, participating vehicles must remain parked until the event ends, and the participants have vacated the area (by approximately 5:30 p.m.).
- Family/Business name, e-mail address, phone number, and car type are required for participating vehicles.
- Electricity will not be available for decorating your vehicle. There will also be latrines open in the Active Core area.
- Participating vehicles must be prepared to provide store-bought wrapped candy or small toys/trinkets for children. Plan on enough for 2,000 children.
- No homemade food items are allowed!
- Trunk or Treat is an alcohol-free event.
