Homer Township is looking for community input of desired amenities to be included in a master plan for improvements at Morris Park. The regional park is located east of Gougar Road along 163rd Street, west of Cedar Road. The Township Board is working with Upland Design to develop a master plan for the site. Future enhancements are planned using established capital reserves, park impact contributions and potential grant funding assistance. Additionally, a collaboration with M I Homes, the Lockport Township Park District and City of Lockport will facilitate enlargement of the park; provide water & sewer infrastructure and other supplementary amenities.
