Will County residents who wish to vote in the Nov. 8 presidential election should register within the next few weeks.
The last day to register by mail or in-person is Tuesday, Oct. 11, and the last day to register online is Sunday, Oct. 23.
Two forms of identification are necessary when registering to vote, one of which must show current name and address. The second only needs to display the resident’s name.
Anyone who has moved within Will County must complete the back of their voter’s card and return it to the Will County Clerk’s Office or email the change to voterregistration@willcountyillinois.com by Oct. 11.
Residents unsure about the status of their registration can check the Will County Clerk’s website at www.thewillcountyclerk.com and click on “Voter Lookup” under the “What’s New” section.
