Today, Mayor George Yukich announced the Dollar Tree store will be coming to Homer Glen. The national retailer has signed a lease for 10,000 square feet occupying a single-tenant building in the soon to be developed Homer Glen Bell plaza.
“It’s great to see earth moving at the progress happening in this development,” said Mayor Yukich. When completed, Homer Glen Bell Plaza will be a 44,681-square foot commercial development at the southwest corner of 143rd Street and Bell Road.
The new development received unanimous approval from the Village of Homer Glen Village Board on March 14. The development includes spaces for two restaurants with drive-thrus and outdoor seating, retail stores and service/office uses among over eight buildings. The project will be developed in three phases. The Dollar Tree store will be part of phase one.
