The Homer Glen Village Board is pleased to announce Karie Friling as the new Village Manager. At the Village Board meeting on February 27, 2019 the Village Board approved an employment agreement with Ms. Friling, and she will assume responsibilities on April 1, 2019.
Karie Friling joins the Village with over 24 years of diverse experience in local government and most recently served as the Assistant Village Manager/Director of Development Services with the Village of Orland Park.
Mayor George Yukich and the Village Board are excited to begin working with Ms. Friling. Her background in development, familiarity with the area, and experience working with IDOT on the Orland Park section of 159th Street will be a great asset to the Village.
