In an ongoing effort to deliver the best customer service, Illinois American Water will be modifying their customer notification process for boil orders away from the current door tagging procedures to utilizing their CodeRED alert system beginning July 1, 2021. Illinois American Water uses CodeRED, a high‐speed customer notification system, to notify customers of impacts to water service by phone, text or email.
- It is important for customers to update their contact information or sign up for MyWater so Illinois American Water can contact them quickly. Customers can log on to the company’s web self‐service portal, wss.amwater.com/selfservice-web/login.do, to enter their contact information and preferences.
