The Forest Preserve District of Will County will hold a public meeting on the District’s intent to include Messenger Woods Nature Preserve in its deer management program in 2021-2022. The meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, August 26, in the community room at Homer Glen Village Hall, 14240 W. 151st St. The entrance to this meeting room is located east of the building’s main entrance. Stations will be set up with displays, Forest Preserve staff will be present to answer questions, and a handout will be available for the public to use as a reference.
