The most recent mailing is from a company named the Local Records Office out of Pekin, Illinois. This company is soliciting citizens to purchase this information for a fee of $ 89.00. This is very similar to solicitations from companies such as Illinois Deed Provider and Record Retrieval.
The company provides the document number, which is from the Will County Recorder's land record system. They also provide the PIN number. This is information that is either on the tax bill or available on the deed that is filed at the Recorder's office at little to no cost.
